Things have changed: Shorts and T-shirts as we write this. Light, refreshing winds. We went swimming without wetsuits for over and hour yesterday. Landscapes are beggining to take the breath away. Sailing is in half-days.... Life is good!
We are in good company but miss the J's, it's been a while since seeing them and Sheliak.
Still moving quick...ish..ly to Georgetown so leaving some spots we really want to check out for the way back up.
Snorkeled a couple caves in the Rocky Dundas, it was really spectacular and the water has finally caught Michelle's attention.
To the cruisers out there: Blackpoint is a great place to do some laundry and catch up on contacts and provisions. It has the best laundromat we have seen on our whole trip!
Good to catch your where-abouts. We're anchored btwn Big and Little Majors, having waited out the storm on Sat. Now it looks like the next westerly will keep us here until maybe Thursday. We're enjoying our slow trip south, touching in at a number of spots, some exploring and snorkeling, and just hanging out. We're traveling with La Buena Vida, a boat we met in Miami. Haven't decided if we'll take the slow trip south, maybe stopping in Lee Stocking Island, or making our way quickly to Georgetown from Little Farmers. In any event, this is an awesome place! Saw your boat when we left the sound at Conch Cay, but couldn't raise you on the radio -- you were probably off exploring. Hope the trip continues to go well for you -- see you in Georgetown!
ReplyDeleteHey there! With all the snow up our way, I am sure you aren't missing good ole' New Hampshire! Keep safe and enjoy! Judy D. in VT
